this is only available to your readers/ooc eyes, as Gideon is very evasive about his past and only appears as the "polite gentleman" around people.Gideon was born and raised in a wealthy and deeply religious family in the english countryside but spent very little time around his parents as he had always been the silent child hiding behind his nanny's skirts.
he was sent to a boarding school for boys, where he received a very strict education and slowly began to take an interest in the opposite sex, with whom he shared a playground. there, he met his first and last wife at sixteen, with whom he married four years after graduation. perfect love story to everyone's eyes, destructive relationship between their walls as Gideon became more and more distant and work-centered. working as a professor, he was always coming home late and leaving early, slowly starting to neglect her. three years later, divorce was final, and to this day he remains single, when these past years are something no one dares to mention around him. to this day, he does not know about his former wife's death, or... does he ?
what happened during these endless years ? well, that's for you to discover, because this man is far from the perfect gentleman, dressed to the nines, attending galas and kissing pretty girls' hands, well hidden in his palace.
though he stills attends these events and always acts self reserved, very polite around his pairs, he also drowns himself in heavy excess, torn between repressing pulsions and loosing himself in high exhalations, sinning and repenting day after day.
